USUAL DISPATCH AND SHIPPING 

We will dispatch your order on the same day if the order is placed before 15:00pm. Orders placed after 15:00pm will be despatched the following day, except orders made after 15:00pm on Friday, which will be despatched the following Monday (excl Bank Holidays). You will receive an email including tracking information once your order is dispatched.

Christmas Delivery Cut-Off Dates

To help ensure your Letterbox Love gift arrives in time for Christmas 2025, please place your order in line with the following recommended Royal Mail posting dates:

📦 Royal Mail Tracked 48 (Standard) – Order by Friday 19 December 2025
📦 Royal Mail Tracked 24 (Next Day Tracked ) – Order by Sunday 21 December 2025

These dates are the latest recommended posting dates from Royal Mail for parcels to arrive before Christmas. Orders placed by these dates will be dispatched according to our normal processing times to meet the postal cut-offs. Royal Mail+1

  • These are Royal Mail’s recommended posting dates, and they may be subject to change slightly each year.

  • We dispatch your order promptly, but once the parcel is handed to Royal Mail, delivery time isn’t fully within our control.

 

Services

 

  • Standard Delivery - £2.50 (Free when you spend over £20) - We use Royal Mail Tracked 48 service for standard delivery, which aims to deliver within 2–3 working days (excludes Sundays and Bank Holidays) and includes compensation cover up to £100, tracking to delivery point and SMS or email notifications. Your tracking number will be sent in a confirmation email.

 

  • Next Day Tracked Delivery - £3.95 to upgrade - This is a Royal Mail Tracked 24 Hour delivery service which aims to deliver the next working day (excludes Bank Holidays and weekends) and includes compensation cover up to £100, tracking to delivery point and SMS or email notifications. Your tracking number will be sent in a confirmation email.

 

  • Collection - Free - If you prefer, you can collect your order from us on the same day if the order is placed before 15:00. Orders placed after 15:00 will be ready for collection the following day, except orders made after 15:00 on Friday which will be ready for collection the following Monday (excl Bank Holidays). You will receive an email once your order is ready to be collected with instructions.

    We’re delighted to offer Guaranteed Christmas Delivery for all orders placed before our final posting dates listed above.

    How it works

    • Orders must be placed on or before the Royal Mail Christmas cut-off dates published in our Shipping Policy.

    • We dispatch quickly and in line with our normal shipping timelines to give your parcel the very best chance of arriving before Christmas.

    • Once parcels are handed to Royal Mail, delivery times can vary slightly depending on seasonal volumes and local delays.

    If something goes wrong

    • Very occasionally, Royal Mail may experience delays or a parcel may go missing in transit.

    • If this happens, we’ll always do our absolute best to help — including sending a replacement where possible so your gift arrives in time.

    • Please note that we can’t take responsibility for delays caused by Royal Mail once the parcel has left our hands, but we’ll support you every step of the way.
